Jane Lane is probably my favourite character from Daria, so I was looking for just the right character for her to be. I'm a big fan of Coraline's character design for the movie version, and something about the hair style felt appropriate. I've never drawn Jane or Coraline before, so I hope I did them both justice.

Pencil and Micron inks on paper. Retouch, colour, etc in Adobe Photoshop 7.
