It's Marianne from Daria as Lady Diana Spencer on her wedding day.

If you don't know who Lady Diana Spencer was, maybe you know her better by the title Diana, Princess of Wales. Lady Di married Prince Charles in 1981 in what was widely regarded as a fairy tale wedding, and viewed on television by hundreds of millions of people. Because of the fame of the event, I thought the wedding dress worn by Diana would be recognizable even when poorly drawn by me. I thought Marianne deserved some grace and dignity for a change. Also, this is only the second time I have done a Daria character in the guise of a celebrity and not a fictional character, for you biographers/criminologists out there.
This outfit was a pain in my butt to draw. There's lace and embroidery in there, but it was tricky to get it to show, since everything is white on white. I try to work in as few layers as possible, but that veil has eight of them alone. I'm not 100% pleased with how this turned out, as the color look odd to me when I look at it on certain monitors, but other than that, it's pretty good.
