Oh, "The Thing," how do I love thee? My absolute favourite alien monster rendition in the film is the disembodied head. Heck, that whole SCENE is greatness, but this little fellow always stood out to me.

I got the bizarre idea in my head to use it as a Daria alter ego a couple of weeks back. The idea of image-crazed Val being this skittering head made me laugh like a mad scientist. As a result, this has to be my freakiest alter ego in this series yet. All of the previous ones could fall under the Daria cast wearing costumes, but that does not work here, for obvious reasons. I suppose this would go under that alter ego style which includes Daria as a worm and Helen as a train (actual canonical end credit alter egos, those). Also, WHY NOT?
